A Lifetime of Service, Leadership, and Commitment to Justice.
With over four decades of experience in law enforcement, fire investigation, and public safety leadership, I have dedicated my life to protecting and serving our communities. My commitment to justice, integrity, and public service has shaped every role I’ve taken on, and I’m ready to bring that same dedication to the bench.
I am a dedicated public safety professional with over 40 years of experience in law enforcement, fire investigation, emergency medical services, and public safety leadership. After serving 27 years with the Marple Township Police Department, I retired as a Patrol Sergeant, where I supervised officers, coordinated special operations, and played a key role in training and community safety initiatives.
Currently, I serve as the Deputy Fire Marshal and Public Safety Officer for Middletown Township, continuing my commitment to fire investigations, life safety inspections, and emergency response coordination. Over the years, I have held leadership roles such as Fire Chief of the Glenolden Fire Company, EMS Manager for Rocky Run Fire Company, and Public Safety Manager at Lankenau Medical Center, overseeing operations and crisis management.
I am a highly trained professional with certifications in fire investigation, emergency response, and law enforcement leadership. As a former President of the Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators, I helped advance fire investigation practices statewide. Throughout my career, I have been honored with multiple commendations, including Meritorious and Excellent Duty Citations, Life-Saving Awards, and letters of commendation.
Education has always been a priority for me. I hold degrees in Fire Science Technology and Administration of Justice and have completed extensive professional development programs, including the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA) courses. My expertise in emergency management, public safety strategy, and community engagement has allowed me to make a lasting impact in every role I have taken on.
Beyond my professional career, I have been happily married for 30 years and am a proud father of nine children, including three who are adopted and two with special needs. My family has shaped my values of service, advocacy, and resilience—principles that guide me every day in my work and community involvement.
